DAY #21 - The Send-off Party.

Tue, september 4.

Today, we had our lunch in the furthest building of ISAT. Our coordinators held a send-off party for us, as today is already the 21th day of our stay. 6 days more for me, Sasco, Chelsea, and Firman to finish our internship.

Last night before this event, Mam Lyza told us to prepare a little speech, we can share our thoughts about our opinion living here until now. While we lunch, Mam Lyz called us one by one to stand in front of the audiences who are our President Univ Sir Muyong, our coordinators Mam Nemz, Sir Jun, Mam Shai, and our buddies. Iqbal, the SEA-Teacher student was the first to shared his thoughts. He even sang one of Filipino song, but I forgot the title. Next is Wilai, our Thailand friend.

I proceeded myself to pretend that I was still eating, so that Mam Lyz won’t call me to give the speech because I was really shy. Its hard for me to speak in front of many people, especially who I respect with. But at the end, Mam Lyz mentioned my name. “Ms. Bell? Come on, your turn.” Huwaaa I was shy but yeah, I stand and go to the front of the audiences.

I shared my thought. I knew I shared a lot already, but I think those wasn’t reflect even 10% of how I really feel. How I really enjoyed Iloilo. Words can’t describe. But yeah, at least I can share my thought and thanked everyone.

We done lunch and the time for certificates giving was coming. We didn’t know before that we will be given a certificate from ISAT. We felt really grateful and touched. We took photos with our certificates and souvenirs together with the high officials of ISAT. We did record a video too, shouting in happiness.

After the lunch, we called to the stage again to perform. Ahaha, we prepared a song to sing for a surprise. So I, Ajin, Rey, and Irham sit in the front again and sang Fix You by Coldplay. We proposed to sing Filipino song but we weren’t prepared much. But still, we enjoyed every minutes of the moment.

In the evening, we invited to a dinner too in a famous seafood restaurants, sponsored by our President University Sir Muyong. Me, Rey, and Redho sat in front of Sir Muyong. We enjoyed tonight so much. Forgotting the fact that today was our sent off-day.
