DAY #19 - Attending ISAT Fashion Show!

A few days ago, we got schedule list and we aknowledged today to be the ‘ISAT Fashion Show’ event day. Yap, ISAT held a fashion show event. Our buddies said that it is an annual event to appreciate ISAT fashion design students. The event held in SM City Mall.

The event held in the Ground floor of the mall. Arrived there, there were already so many people sitting and standing and we, TVET students were invited to take a sit in the VIP seats. We were so happy because we can see the stage (and ofc the models) from really close distance.

The event began at 4 PM. The MC invited Sir Muyong, our President University to came to the stage. He gave the opening speech. He is an admirable person, the way he speaks is so calm but make us pay so much attention at the same time. “This event is a form of appreciation for our students,” Sir Muyong said.

In front of our seat, in the different side of the stage, the nominees of Mr & Miss ISAT-U sat together. The MC mentioned their names and everyone clapped. They are so gorgeous, of course pretty and handsome. We have few days more for the Mr & Miss ISAT award so they were sitting there to watch the fashion show too.

After all the speeches, the main event began. There were 10 costumes for both man and woman being showed off. Here’s the pictures:

All the costumes are soo elegant, I can imagine how creative ISAT students are by looking every details of each costume. After all the models walked to the stage, their designers showed off too. They are simply unique and positive, we can sense ‘fashion’ from them.

Those costumes judged by professionals who were sitting in front of the stage since the start. They are proffesional designers who designed actress and actors’ costumes.

The awardees start in the evening. All the costumes are great, but there’s still one that valued as unique, innovative, and elegant which is the... number 6 contestants! The trophies and flower bouquete given to first and other winners.

We, TVET students were very happy to witnessed this ISAT’s special event. I love how ISAT high officials always appreciate their students’ works.
