DAY #12 - Sunday Funday!

Sunday funday! Free time again, and we cooked for our buddies today!! Mira, Ajin, and I cooked Indonesian food, Kangkung and Bakwan. In Philippines, they called Kangkung as Kangkong. It is quite similar, right? Haha but the way we cook the kangkung is different. They often use kangkung for salad, but in Indonesia, we literally cook it with shrimp sauce and spices.

We bought so many ingredients yesterday. We divide the vegetables so we can cook chicken soup too next days. For today, we just cooked what we got. The cooking time ended at 8 PM and we brought our dishes upstairs so we all can eat together in the lounge.

Our buddies were curious with our way of cooking, especially the bakwan. They were afraid too if the foods are spicy but we said that its not, we adjusted our level of spicy so our buddies can eat too. After knowing it, they relieved and we all started eating.

The dinner was good, we enjoyed the foods, and I really enjoy the moment. I literally enjoy every moments here at Iloilo.

I think I’m in love with Iloilo already.
